Lakepark Swim Team

We would love to have your children join us here at Lakepark to work on swim skill improvement, make great friends and have tons of fun! 

The Lakepark Swim Team has a long history of success in the Tarheel Swim Association (TSA). TSA is North Carolina's largest summer recreational youth swim league (nearly 90 teams and 11,000 swimmers) with member clubs located all over Wake County.

Our swim team is comprised of approximately 125 swimmers, with ages ranging from 4 to 18 years. Depending on swimmer's ability and age, the team tries to advance each swimmer's knowledge of stroke technique, proper start and finishes and flip turns (for swimmers 11 years and older) during the swim season. Focus is made on improving the skills and increasing the stamina of each swimmer. While summer swimming is competitive in nature, the team's philosophy is to emphasize teamwork, individual goals, and good sportsmanship. Each swimmer is encouraged, through the weekly tracking of times in each event, to improve their technique and speed. 

Additionally, the team is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, run by its volunteer Board of Directors with all member families encouraged to be actively involved in team activities and fundraisers.
