Two Roosters Tuesday & other reminders
Two Roosters spirit night THIS TUESDAY. Support the Lakepark Swim Team by eating some ice cream! Come to Two Roosters (7713 Lead Mine Rd #49, Raleigh, NC 27615) between 2pm-9pm on Tuesday, May 21. Mention Lakepark when you order (and if you order online, put Lakepark Swim Team in the comment section). Lakepark will get a portion of the proceeds. This is a great time to buy gift cards for teachers. Your gift card purchase will count toward our total.
Registration is still open! Visit the team website at https://lpk.swimtopia.com/ and click on the “Register now” button to register for the 2024 swim season. Registration will be $130 per swimmer and will increase to $150 on May 26th. Refunds will not be offered. Please note: in order for your swimmer to receive the team t-shirt, you must register and pay by May 25th. Remember to order parent tees and hoodies when registering as well. This is the only opportunity to ensure guaranteed apparel ordered at registration.
Auction Items: We're still searching for auction items and are especially looking at services our teenagers can provide. If they are willing to mow, babysit, pet walk, etc. there's a signup at the front desk (or reply here). Additionally, we will offer our teenagers a blurb in our Marlin Messenger if they would like to promote their services.Volunteering at 4+ of our meets is essential to a smooth-running evening. Take a peek at the description of what we need from our parent volunteers to see what role(s) you can contribute this year. You can try one out at our Blue and White Meet on June 1.
Registration for the Blue and White meet is in the works, but mark it on your calendar.We have another full week of practice coming up. Swimmers should be prepared with shoes every day during these early weeks, as well as their swim gear. Coaches are loving getting to know your swimmers!
