Swim Meet AWAY at Heritage
Volunteer slots are still open. They have a ten lane pool so we have the opportunity for larger heats with more timers. https://lpk.swimtopia.com/

Location
From I-540 Capital Blvd (US 1N), R at Chris Leith Auto Dealerships onto S Main St (1A), R at 3rd light in front of middle school onto Rogers Rd., L onto Heritage Lake Dr. pool is on the left. Pool address: 804 Heritage Lake Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587

Warm Ups
Please be at the pool as close to 5:00pm for swimmer check in with warm-ups for our team starting at 5:30pm

Parking
Our team can park in the parking lot at our pool and then overflow into the neighborhood streets but not near the Church. If they are out of space you may park at the Club and walk across. Also, the streets adjacent to the pool parking lot are having some repairs if the lot is full we have the golf course lot available for parking as well. The address is:

Set Up at Pool
Our team will be located on the far side of the pool. There will be neon tape to separate the two sides and you can overflow to the upper deck if you need to. We will set you up chairs on the far side of the slide to use as clerks of course. I would suggest they bring some chairs just in case. The ribbon writers and the scorers will be under the pavilion on the left side of the pool. The computer for the timing system will be under the upper deck.

Pool

We do have 10 lanes which we will utilize after the 1st heat. You will be in lanes 4, 6 & 8 for scoring. The pool has lights as well as plenty on deck. We do not allow swimmers on the upper deck.

Timing
We will be using the Dolphin timing system. You will be responsible for your lanes/heat sheets. I will provide the place judge forms unless you all are okay with just using times to determine the place. Please just make sure you have at least 6 timers, but we will use all 10 lanes.

Officials Meeting
We will have the volunteer meeting outside of the main gate at 5:45pm, Sarah our TSA rep will be at the tables under the pavilion on the left when you enter or run between there and the computer table.

Concessions
Heritage does provide a concession stand that is not affiliated with the swim team. They have burgers, fries, chicken fingers, etc and you will need cash to purchase from them. There is a Chick-fil-a, Mcdonald's, and much more minutes from the pool.

Save the Date

• Movie Day June 26: As of now we’re planning on attending Inside Out 2 at Triangle Cinemas (9500 Forum Dr) at 1pm. Looking for a parent to volunteer to round up and welcome our Marlins as they come to the theater. Let's wear our team shirts! This location is close, inexpensive ($5) and provides flexibility as you do not need to reserve seats. But it looks like you can buy tickets in advance on Fandango.
  ***I know Fandango now says $9 but I called the theater and they said it should be $5. If you go to the box office it should be $5**
  It's also near Goodberry's....
• June 26 is also our Goodberry’s dine out all day. Mention Lakepark! If you can’t make the movie, you can head over and meet us after the movie at Goodberry’s, likely around 3:30.
• July 3 & July 4: No practice. We are headed to Emerald Pointe on July 3 and celebrating the July 4 holiday.
• Picture Day is set for before our home meet on July 9. Wear your team suit and come at 4pm.
