Marlin Messenger

AWAY Meet at Greenway Club

Directions:
FROM FALLS OF NEUSE: Travel north on Falls of Neuse; Turn right on Durant Rd.; Travel approximately .7 mile; Turn left on Falls River Avenue. Clubhouse sits on the first traffic circle. Take the second exit from the circle and enter the parking lot on the right. FROM CAPITAL BLVD.: Travel north on Capital Blvd.; Turn left on Durant Rd.; Travel approximately 2 miles; Turn right on Falls River Avenue. Clubhouse sits on the first traffic circle. Take the second exit from the circle and enter the parking lot on the right.

Pool Information:
Pool is a 25-yard, 6-lane pool with blocks and lights.

Visiting Team Set Up:
Your team can set up seating on the side of the pool closest to the entrance to the pool deck as well as the far end spilling into the other pool (which will be closed)

Warm Up & Meet Preferences:
Please Arrive at 5:00pm.  Your team will warm up from 5:30-6pm. The Racers will warm up from 5-5:30pm. The meet will begin promptly at 6pm. We follow the regular sequence of events for our meets (meaning 6 and under events are with each stroke). We use dive overs for 11 and up age groups.

Officials Meeting:
Please have all of your timers, stroke and turn judge and TSA Rep meet on the covered porch at 5:40pm for the Officials Meeting. Your DQ/Scorer and Ribbon Writers will be on the covered porch for the duration of the meet.

Parking:
We allow the visiting team to park in our parking lot. Greenway uses the soccer field adjacent to the parking lot for parking and any members of your team that are unable to park in our parking lot may park in the soccer field as well. Please do not park in the Falls River Avenue traffic circle or in front of the townhomes on Southwalk Lane – YOU WILL BE TOWED.

Emerald Pointe- Wet 'n Wild

• Wed July 3, no LPK practice AM or PM.
• Check out their website https://www.emeraldpointe.com/ on pricing information and consider buying your tickets in advance for the best prices. We can meet at the Lakepark parking lot to carpool or caravan at 8am, leaving no later than 8:30am. Or you can meet us there at the gate around 10am. Emerald Pointe is approximately one hour and 20 minutes away from Lakepark.
• If anyone wants to volunteer to be a point-person and collect names of those going, please email back. We can try to make a group text about meeting at the gate and for lunch.  So far I haven't heard from anyone but happy to help point anyone in the right direction.

After our TSA championship meet we traditionally invite families to share a celebratory meal.  This year we're excited to attend Casa Carbone and we need a headcount by July 12.
