Completion of our 2024 Season

At last weekend's TSA Championship meet we came home with 2 tophies.  With our 5-1 meet record we won our division!  Lakepark placed THIRD in the whole TSA!

Some more stats:

• TSA is made up of 88 teams in Wake County area 
• TSA Championship meet had about 57 teams there
  
• 47 LPK swimmers participated
• 3 teams records were broken
  • 13-14 boys Medley relay Cody, Karsten,Kavin and Caleb 
  • 13-14 boys back and fly records by Cody Watts. 

It was a very very full day and we want to congratulate our coaches and volunteers who made that day such a success!  Our new trophies are already in the case by the entrance to the pool

Thank you Volunteers
Our meets and activities are run by volunteers like you. Thank you for spending time in the sun and rain to time, run, kid-push, clerk and pass out ribbons.  We have essential trained positions like strokes and turns judges, starters, and scorekeepers.  Our concessions is one of the best in the league and keeps us well-fed and smiling.  This year's kid catchers assisted our young swimmers with expertise and grace.  Our swim team board is busy throughout the year making stuff happen.  

If you'd like to be more involved, we'd love to have you share your time and talents with us.  Specifically we'll be looking to fill our secretary role for the 2025 season.

Banquet
We took a chance on the weather and WON last night by staying relatively dry.  It's always so special getting together one more time.  We posed with the TSA trophies, ate dinner, laughed, eventually got in for a coin toss, and even cried a little at the beautiful slideshow made by Brittany Notch.  It's seriously worth your time to see ALL our teammates in this.  We will send it out when we have the link ready.  Check out instagram @swim4lpk for some fun pics in the meantime.

Housekeeping
Try to make it to the pool to pick up your trophy/plates, team picture if you ordered one, ribbons, and check out the lost & found.  It might take a few days for us to get them in place, but reply here so we can keep tabs on your search for your items.
