Early bird registration is now open to sign up your swimmers for the 2025 season. You can sign up here to register, pay, and select your t-shirt sizes. Caps, sweatshirts, and our family sponsorship are also available for purchase.

Welcome Coach Austin!
We are very excited to introduce our new head coach, Coach Austin Winchester!
First being introduced to year round swimming at the age of 8, Austin competed for the Waves of Wilmington until graduating high school in 2020 where he then competed for NC State University for the next 3 years. While attending NC State, they won the ACC conference title twice in a record amount of points both times. After his third year, Austin decided to step away from competitive swimming and be done with his career. He finished up his senior year in 2024 and graduated with a degree in Human Biology and minor in Sports Science.

He is an avid fan of being outside, and spends a lot of his time running, lifting, and/or swimming. With all that activity Austin loves to cook (and eat) and prides himself with being the designated ‘sous chef’ at family gatherings. With current coaching experience at New Wave swimming, and previous summer league teams, Austin is stoked to continue that experience with Lakepark this summer!
