Harrington Grove AWAY meet on Tuesday
- The address to the pool is:
12201 New Leesville Blvd
Raleigh, NC 27613 - Parking lot available for our team to use. If there is not enough parking, we typically see overflow parking on New Leesville Blvd on the north side of the pool.
- The pool deck on the near side (to the left as you walk in) for our team's use. We also split the covered deck space so your team can utilize that too.
- Aim to arrive close to 5:00 so Lakepark swimmers can warm up from 5:30-6:00.
- Pool is an 8-lane 25-yard pool, for reference, which should help speed the meet up after the main events.
- We will be using the Time Drops system and run 8 lanes with 2 timers per lane (1 from each team). We will provide an access code for parents to use the TimeDrops Live! app. We do use an electronic starting system that will connect to TimeDrops. The times will automatically upload to Meet Maestro.
Pizzas will be ordered to serve for dinner as needed. Our guard shack will be open and will have the normal variety of drinks, candy, chips, etc. - The pool deck on the near side (to the left as you walk in) for our team's use. Question of the meet
Is 25 meters shorter or longer then 25 yards and how much?
A 25 yard pool is shorter than a 25 meter pool. 25 yard pool measures 75 feet (22.86 meters) in length, while a 25 meter pool measures 82.02 feet (25 meters).
The first meet at Northbook was a 25 meter pool and Swimtopia converted times for us. Harrington Grove is 25 yards like Lakepark.
