War Party
It's that time of year to break out all things BLUE: Body paint, makeup, fun hats, super cool tattoos, even blue hair. Bring your own supplies. Meet around 4:30 at the volleyball area to start the fun. We'll do a cheer, take a picture and be ready for one last LPK hurrah.
We will be asking body paint to be washed off to keep our pool clean. You can use the outside hose or showers.
Last call for team pictures
Jenn will be at the meet tomorrow night to deliver any more team pictures if you decided you want another or didn't order the first time around. You can use this link or even use a QR code tomorrow at the meet.
Same cost - $15 for the 8x10. We will need to get a minimum of 5 prints requested to allow us to reach the minimum required for ordering. You have until midnight 7/15 (our last meet)- to place the order and they will be distributed at the banquet.

Second Call for Coaches Gifts
The Lakepark Swim Team has been fortunate to have such a great group of coaches this year. We would like to recognize their hard work and dedication at the banquet. If you would like to contribute to a coaches gift, Kendall Myers will be collecting money. *If you need assistance finding Kendall I can help you find her.
Ways to donate: cash or check made out to Kendall Myers, PayPal: @kendallmyers72 or Venmo: @klueke (3199).
New Wave Clinic
All independently swimming Marlins are invited to a 10am-11am breaststroke clinic this Wednesday July 16 hosted by John Roy, head coach of New Wave Swim Team.
Everyone is welcome to attend and watch but to participate in the water you must be able to swim independently.
This is a fun and informative opportunity from a local coach who has had experience with Olympic Trials qualifiers, National Finalists, National Junior Team Members, and Junior National Record holders.
TSA Swimmers
Be on the lookout for an email from Heather Watts about the last handful of practices as well as communication about the day of the meet. If it's your first TSA championship meet, you can respond to this email if you'd like to connect to a family who has done this before.
Non-TSA swimmers, regular practices are over after Tuesday and we'll see you at the Wave Clinic on Wednesday, Banquet... or Ba-Da wings!
We will be inviting EVERYONE to Ba-Da wings the evening of July 20 as the TSA meet is finishing up. The timeline can shift if the meet is running late, but they'll be ready for Marlins starting around 8pm. An alert will go out when we expect the last group to arrive from Cary. All Marlins invited. Last year we got to pose with a trophy!
End of Season Banquet
Join us Monday July 21 for our end of season banquet. We'll send some more details later this week but plan on these details:
- Doors open at 6pm
- Swimwear recommended; pool will be open to play and we'll have some games later on.
- Ceremony will begin at 6:30pm
- Bring your own dinner, no glass.
- We'll be playing in the pool until it gets dark so we can view and enjoy the amazing video and slideshow.
