End of Season Updates
We celebrated the end of the 2025 swim team season last night with our banquet where awards were handed out.  Swimmers who competed in meets have a trophy (10&under) or plaque item (11&over) ready for them. 
If you were not able to attend the banquet last night we have a box of unclaimed awards.  Respond to this email, and I can connect you to your award.  There are some unclaimed specific awards and I will email those families.  

Please check the accordion file near the microwave for dual meet ribbons.  If your swimmer was in a relay or a first heat this season then it is possible that there's a ribbon waiting for them.

Like we said at the banquet last night, we owe many MANY thanks to our families for making this season happen.  When we asked for donations or volunteering help, you stepped up.  We know you have many obligations, travel, jobs happening this summer so we appreciate all the minutes and hours you could spend with us.  

Thank you for your contributions toward our coaches gifts.  We wish them well! Kenley heads to her senior year after she returns from Costa Rica.  Charlie is heading to NC State.  And Austin is heading to PT School at Western Carolina.  

• Our jaw-dropping slideshow by the amazing duo of Cassady Watts and photographer Jenn Burnell will be available soon on our website for viewing.  We'll give an update when it's posted.  Ask anyone who saw it, and they will tell you about what made them laugh and the parents cry.  And that team cheer!
• Go through your pictures and add to our Google Drive for the season.  Take a peek at all the fun and download your favorites of your swimmers.

YOTA : year-round swim team
This swim team from our local YMCA sent our team a message we'd like to share with you.  We've had some YOTA swimmers on our team in the past that have had a lot of fun and success.
 
Hello Lakepark Family,
       Congratulations on an AWESOME summer season! We would love to see your swimmers continue to build upon the momentum they built this summer by diving into our year-round program or one of our prep groups. I would like to invite your swimmers to sign up for a YOTA Swim Team evaluation in the coming weeks. If you can, please share the attached flyer as well as this link to our evaluation sign ups.
