The pool opens in 2 days! 

Registration for swim team is LIVE! Early bird pricing is $145 through May 16, which will include a t-shirt. Don’t forget to join the pool! You must be a member of the pool to join the swim team.  Register for swim team here: https://lpk.swimtopia.com/register . You can also forward this email to families who were not on the team last year so they get this information.

You’ll need to choose the size of your swimmer’s shirt, and you can add in any other apparel or caps to your cart as well.
*Family Sponsorship: Please consider adding a family sponsorship for $50 to add your family’s name to the t-shirt and support our team in our fundraising goal.

Parent Meeting

We welcome you to the pool on May 11 at 6pm to our annual parent meeting. This is a time our swim team board will introduce you to coaches and the share important news and processes of how our swim team works.  Parents will learn how they can support and participate in our team and competitions.  
There is no swim practice this day, but kids can come to say hello to teammates and visit with coaches.  
New families, take a look at our website again and come with questions!

First Weeks of Practice

We are excited to welcome our swim team back to Lakepark this May. These first weeks are where friendships start, coaches get to know the swimmers, and skills develop. Coaches will keep an eye on pool temperatures, and swimmers need to come to practice with shoes and socks for team-building games and dryland activities. They should also be prepared to get in the water if a decision gets made to swim that day.

  4:30- 5:30pm (age 11 & up)
  5:30- 6:00pm (age 6 & under)
  6:00-7:00pm ( age 7-10)

Fundraising
1. We are actively looking for local businesses to be sponsors for our Lakepark Marlins. Do you know establishments looking to be on our t-shirts or on a banner? Share this form or contact Katie Penree ( [email protected].) to arrange the sponsorship.

2. Silent Auction: Our Silent Auction will be posted at the pool May 25-30, ending at the Blue & White meet. If a business isn’t able to be a sponsor with us, see if they are willing to make a donation to our silent auction. We'd love each family to reach out to a business they love, or consider making a donation of their own toward our silent auction. Email Katie with your donation suggestion. 

3. Bunco: We will have a Bunco Night June 5. This is a really fun event for the whole family.

4.  The pool is still holding a raffle to support repairs and updates at the pool.  Thank you for your support.

This Fast Freestyle & Backstroke Technique Camp will be led by Olympian Felix Auboeck, focusing on efficiency, speed, and race execution.

It’s a great chance to reinforce what we’re working on while getting a different perspective and high-level technical feedback.

Spots are limited and beginning to fill.
