The Blue & White Meet is now OPEN
You can check our website or through your Swimtopia app to declare whether your swimmer can come Saturday May 30 morning. This is a practice meet with only our swimmers in attendance, a chance for swimmers to go through the motions of a meet. This is also an opportunity for our parent volunteers to practice roles and for coaches to see how swimmers are developing and getting times for entry for the first meet.
Exact timing will be updated soon but last year we had warmups at 8am and finished the whole meet in a couple hours.
Please:
- Declare whether your swimmer can attend or not
- Sign up for a volunteer role
- Sign up for a concession item

Question of the week
Does my swimmer HAVE to wear a swim cap?
In short, no. But swim caps help identify our team vs our competing team and create a cohesive team atmosphere. They also keep hair out of the swimmer’s face and reduce drag by creating a smooth surface to slice through the water. Swim caps are also helpful keeping goggle straps in on place, reducing the chance the goggles slide off. We support our swimmers, especially those with long hair, wearing a team cap.
If you do not have a Lakepark cap, you may not wear another team’s cap at a meet (Wave, high school, college, another team).
