We had a beautiful evening for a meet against Bedford on Wednesday.  Bedford won the meet but we had so many great successes including some pool records! The Marlin Messenger will be out in a few days with a full recap.

Home Meet vs. Northbrook on Tuesday

Coaches are kindly asking families to declare for next Tuesday's home meet by this Friday so they can work on lineups over the weekend. If you know your swimmer cannot attend, it can make the meet go much faster if you share that information with us. It also helps coaches make accurate relays. Thank you for taking two minutes on the Swimtopia app or the website to mark this.

Jobs and Concessions are open as well so grab your favorites while they last! Every effort helps make this a smooth-running meet. When we host, there are more jobs to fill.

Team Pictures Tuesday- Individual scheduling

Come at 4pm on Tuesday for Team Pictures.
We welcome Jenn Burnell again this year to take pictures of our team.You may have seen her with her camera at the meet last week.

Two things different from last year:

• I am scheduling times to take the individual photos versus doing them just before the 6/23 (Team picture day) meet. They are typically 30 minute windows before or after practices (or the Wave workshop on that Saturday) where I will grab whomever signed up in that time slot.
• I also am offering 20 minute mini-sessions where we will get multiple images both in and out of water. $75 will get you 5 digital images. These are scheduled on a separate calendar page which is on the form but can be found at https://calendar.app.google/YGAGXPjzWbnXTp6v8

Wave Clinic Saturday 6/27
We're inviting our swimmers on Saturday 6/27 with Wave coach Brent to conduct a swim clinic at our pool. The focus will be on breaststroke and we recommend swimmers attending can swim independently. We'll be breaking up swimmers into two groups for a 45 min clinic each.
     8:30-9:15 11&up
     9:15-10 10& under

Donuts and Drag Day
"Back in the day" swimmers used to wear drag suits in practice, then wear their race suit at meets to feel zippy and fast. Next Wednesday morning 10am bring your favorite costume to be your drag suit (Halloween costumes or anything homemade is great.....but no masks for safety reasons). You can coordinate with friends and family and maybe win an award!
